Specialising in the care of cats and small to medium-sized dogs with individual love and attention, we pride ourselves on quality pet care. The owners, Richard & Ellen Minto, are themselves dog owners and exhibitors, and both have owned and loved several cats in the past. Additionally, Mrs Minto has seven years experience working as an office manager/veterinary technician, and in helping to re-home cats, kittens and dogs for the Animal Protection League. She has been showing and breeding dogs since 1977.
While you are on holiday, your pet deserves a holiday as well. All our boarders are given the same care we would expect for our own pets, and while "there is no place like home", we endeavour to give your pet a stress-free and happy stay. For the dogs, this includes daily walks in our grassy paddocks. And while the cats are not walked, they are checked on, spoken to, and given strokes and cuddles (if they enjoy them) several times throughout the day.
Anacan Kennels is home to the well-known Canaan Dogs of Anacan and Anacan Tibetan Spaniels.
